About Lake Manyara National Park
Lush woodlands and beaches of the Rift Valley Lake typify Lake Manyara National Park. Giraffe, elephants and wildebeest are often seen enjoying the endless supply of fresh water. You will often see these enormous animals in the water, sitting, sipping or just cooling off.
The unique habitat attracts hundreds of bird species to the forests. The ultimate prize of this area is to see the famous tree-climbing lion.
